APSAC’s 29th Colloquium will bring high-quality interdisciplinary learning opportunities to child maltreatment researchers and practitioners across experience levels and professions. Extraordinary plenary speakers will join us and more than 50 workshops will be available! Sessions will be offered at beginning, intermediate, or advanced level for professionals in mental health, social work, medicine, nursing, law, education, law enforcement, prevention, research, advocacy, child protective services, and allied fields.

New for 2022: Everyone who registers for the Colloquium will receive a code for a one free membership to gift to a colleague or to themselves (if they’re not a current or past member)! The code is only valid for first-time APSAC members purchasing an individual membership. Membership runs 7/1/22 – 7/1/23. Paid registrants will receive the code on 6/30/2022.

The 2022 APSAC Colloquium will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, 500 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70130. The Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, is in the heart of the Big Easy. Work, play or simply relax at this New Orleans hotel, centrally located within an atmosphere of endless excitement in one of the world’s greatest cities. Arise to a breakfast of beignets just steps from the French Quarter. Spend an afternoon shopping Royal Street and the French Market. Relax in Jackson Square or dine at a world-famous restaurant in the French Quarter. Place yourself in the middle of all the things to do in New Orleans! The discounted rate for conference attendees is $192 per night. These rates are available until May 9, 2022, or until the block is exhausted, whichever comes first. The 2023 Call for Papers will be available soon. APSAC is soliciting abstracts for training, research, roundtable and poster presentations for the 30th Annual APSAC Colloquium in Denver, CO. Join us at one of the field’s premier forums for child maltreatment professionals to offer training presentations and report new research findings. Topics address legal, medical, mental health, investigative, preventive, and protective services work with abused and neglected children, their families, and perpetrators of abuse. Presentations are encouraged on all aspects of child maltreatment, including cultural diversity. Submissions are encouraged on all aspects of child maltreatment, including cultural diversity.
