This award honors an individual or organization within the faith community whose leadership, advocacy, and action have advanced child protection and maltreatment prevention. Recipients use their platform to create safe, supportive, and trauma-informed spaces for children and families.

This inaugural award is being given posthumously to Pete Singer, the former Executive Director of GRACE, Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment, which works nationally with faith communities to prevent and investigate child maltreatment and assess institutional responses to abuse.
