With over 20 years of service, Sgt. Udvarhelyi has dedicated his career to protecting children through tireless work investigating child abuse, sexual exploitation, and domestic violence. As a leader in EPD’s Family Protection and Child Exploitation Unit, he is known for his thorough, trauma-informed, and victim-centered approach.
From helping solve the high-profile Creeper Case using innovative investigative strategies to creating the powerful CSA-focused documentary, Unstranger Danger, Jeff’s impact extends far beyond the badge.
Jeff brings unmatched empathy and strength to his work–building trust with children and families while inspiring professionals across the field. As one survivor shared:
